This installation invited visitors to walk amongst the earthenware bowls and check for contents below. Some bowls were empty while others had mirrors or notes. Visitors anonymously wrote their fears onto a piece of paper and placed them back under a bowl. The act of writing the fear was a confession, a moment of exposure. Placing it under it under a bowl hid it away just as people withhold their fears. There was no guarantee that the fear would remain concealed though. The bowls were not fired, making it susceptible to shattering when handled. This symbolizes how people will attempt to hide their fears, but there is no way to permanently conceal them.
